Oxford University asked London Calling to help promote their What’s On calendar and help drive awareness and event take-up from audiences in their local area and across several other counties – Oxfordshire, Birmingham, Bristol, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Warwickshire and London.
The strategy was multi focused. For London distribution we focused solely on our network displays to ensure the highest success rate for engagement and pick up.
We cherry picked Contemporary Culture and Museums and Heritage – two of our most commonly booked network display to ensure we covered significant venues in affluent areas across London targeting Arts and Culture consumers.
Similarly for the surrounding counties London Calling targeted venues across 6 counties – Oxfordshire, Birmingham, Britstol, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Warwickshire – with a focus on Arts and Culture enthisiasts.
Lastly for their Oxfordshire home location London Calling targeted the local community and ran posters in 14 Oxford poster sites to drive awareness. At £77 per run this was really cost effective for the university.
Over 500 venues were covered over a 2 – 4 week period.
The calender creative created impact with consumers as opposed to a typical leaflet, giving a fresh approach and captivate the audience.
All the print was picked up by consumers at the end of the campaign – achieving great engagement for our client.
