Harbour Park

Summer Marketing Campaign

The Challenge

Harbour Park is a well-established and a leading family attraction in the coastal resort of Littlehampton in West Sussex. It’s a theme park full of thrilling rides and attractions designed for families.

The park, originally set up in 1932 and still privately owned, has a loyal following of returning visitors. It strives to attract new ones each year, especially during its peak seasons.

London + Culture Calling has been working with the resort for a long time to sustain awareness each year and drive ticket sales primarily among families in the South.

The Strategy

We built an integrated print and digital marketing campaign for Harbour Park.

Print display targeted the following regions and communities during July and August:

– London Villages
– Leafy Suburbs
– Asian communities
– Sikh communities
– West Sussex
– Mid Sussex
– Brighton & Hove
– Hampshire (all)

The digital campaign included our in-house film crew producing a new promotional video showcasing the best beaches in West Sussex and the park itself. The video then ran across social media in the lead-up to the summer holidays.

The video also ran across the culturecalling.com whats on website and placed as a Premium spot in our weekly newsletters.

The results

The video has received solid performance stats across the digital channels and ticket levels have been solid.

The Facebook boosted competition received nearly 2000 entries with a quarter of those opting to leave their email address when signing up to receive the newsletter.

The Facebook competition ran for 2 weeks and reached over 18K with an impressive 22% engagement rate.

Twitter’s competition boosting received a 6% CTR
