Ensuring a Safe Return to Work

We’re planning a safe return to work from July

As businesses and venues across the UK start to reopen, London + Culture Calling have mapped out a safe return to work policy to ensure the continued wellbeing of our staff, venue partners and the wider public.  In accordance with the government’s guidelines and in order to minimise the risk of COVID-19 transmission we are committed to implementing the following measures:

Our drivers:

We have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and shared the results with our members of staff.

Gloves – a fresh pair of disposable gloves will be worn at each venue and display stand visit.

Face masks – will be worn during each venue visit.

Hand sanitisation – each driver will hand sanitise before and after each venue visit.

Cleaning – we will keep our office, warehouse and electric van fleet clean. Also, the drivers will clean every leaflet stand during each visit with high-quality disinfectant wipes.

Social distancing – our team will not enter a venue to re-stock a display stand until it is safe to do so applying the 2-metre distance rule.

Our back-office team and warehouse staff:

During the height of the pandemic, the majority of our team were furloughed. Since then we’ve been keeping in regular weekly contact with them to check-in with people, keep spirits lifted and share our new life experiences. As life slowly returns to normal, we will de-furlough the team over the coming months and, where possible, help people continue to work from home.  If people return to the office, then we will take all reasonable steps to enable people to have a 2-metre distance, stagger office start times, minimise group meetings, add in hand sanitiser stations, disposable paper towels, face masks (for those who want to wear them) and ensure the office and warehouses are thoroughly cleaned each night.  All visitors and deliveries will be signed in and delivery drivers to the warehouse will be encouraged to stay in their vehicles.

Our partner venues:

We’re talking now and will continue to talk to our venue partners over the coming months to ensure we’re compliant with their health and safety procedures to minimise health risks to the public.

Campaign orders

From July we’ll ensure our display racks are only presenting ‘live’ marketing materials and they’re stocked with fresh literature as soon as you can share it with us.  We’re talking to many clients about their return to work and how their marketing plans have changed for the remainder of 2020.

Please give us a call or drop us an email if you need help with campaign planning, it would be great to hear from you!
